The first word of our name, community, suggests that our programming is for the community, by the community. Whether you're looking to gain practical experience needed for further education or a career change, or simply to take part in an exciting volunteer environment, Community Access Television will provide you with a solid experience in television production.
To "Be TV" at CATV you can:

- Create
One-on-one training or assistance is available for all areas of video production-writing, directing, producing, camera operation, lighting, sound and editing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced video producer, you're welcome to use our resources to enhance your productions. Our resources include a fully-equipped studio, digital edit bays, field cameras and switchers for remote location shoots, expertise from staff and a network of community producers.

- Volunteer
Want to be part of the action, but aren't sure how you can contribute? Intrigued by the video production process? Looking to improve your basic video production skills? Whether you want to operate cameras, direct, edit or host a program, a variety of volunteer experiences exist at CATV. Check out CATV's outstanding Volunteers.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to discover career opportunities and gain hands-on experience while you help local performers and arts/education organizations present their talents and information to the community. We can use your help and find a place for you whether you're interested in operating cameras, directing, editing, or learning all aspects of a multi-camera shoot.

- Submit a Program
Individuals or organizations who have completed programs can submit them for cablecast/web cast consideration on CATV. For more information, please view the Request for Cablecast/Webcast.
